Overview

Whether this is your first massage or you've received treatment before, this page will help you know what to expect before, during, and after your appointment.

Scheduling Your Visit

Text is the preferred method for appointment requests and scheduling questions. You’re welcome to reach out at any time.

To help with scheduling, please include:

  • Your full name
  • How you found the practice
  • Two to three preferred dates and time ranges

You may also request appointments through my Vagaro booking site. If your preferred appointment time isn't available, you're welcome to join the waitlist.

Please note that Vagaro requires an account for online booking and digital intake forms. If you don't already have an account, you'll be prompted to create one during the booking process.

Before Your Visit

Intake Forms
All new clients are asked to complete intake and consent forms before their appointment. These forms provide an understanding of your health history, goals, current concerns, and any factors that may influence treatment.

You'll be asked to update your intake forms every two years, or sooner if you experience significant changes to your health, injuries, surgeries, or medical conditions.

The online form can be filled out here.

Preparing for Your Visit
  • Arrive about 5 minutes early to allow time to settle in.
  • Wear loose, comfortable clothing.
  • Avoid heavy meals, alcohol, or excessive caffeine for 1–2 hours beforehand.
  • Stay hydrated before and after your session.
  • If you're feeling unwell, please reschedule your appointment.

Location and Arrival
Eirene Massage + Bodyworks is located in Mililani. Additional location details and arrival instructions are provided after booking confirmation.

Please arrive on time so your full appointment can be used for treatment.

During Your Appointment

Your first visit begins with a conversation about what brought you in, your goals, your health history, and any lifestyle or movement factors that may be contributing to your symptoms. This conversation helps me understand your concerns and determine where to begin treatment.

Communication is always encouraged throughout your session. Your comfort is important throughout the session, and you're always welcome to ask questions or request changes at any point during treatment. Please let me know if you'd like pressure, positioning, or treatment adjusted at any time.

Please silence your phone before your appointment to help maintain a quiet, relaxing environment.

After Your Appointment

It's common to feel relaxed, tired, or mildly sore after treatment, especially following focused work.

After your session:
  • Drink water.
  • Keep activity lighter for the remainder of the day when possible.
  • Allow your body time to recover.
  • Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns after your appointment.

Frequently Asked Questions
What should I wear?

Most clients arrive in comfortable everyday clothing. Depending on your session, treatment may include massage, bodywork, stretching, or mobility-based techniques. You'll always be appropriately draped, and your comfort remains a priority throughout the session.

Will the session be painful?

Treatment should feel intentional and therapeutic, not overwhelming. We'll work within your tolerance level using a 1–10 pain scale, and pressure can be adjusted at any time based on your comfort and feedback.

What if I'm not sure which service to choose?

That's completely okay. Simply send me a text and tell me a little about what's been going on. I can help you decide which appointment is the best fit for your first visit.

Do I need to book online?

No. Texting is the easiest way to schedule your first appointment. If you prefer, you can also book online through Vagaro. New clients booking online will be asked to create a Vagaro account before scheduling.

Should I book massage or bodywork?

You don't need to choose between them. Treatment is based on your goals and what you need that day. Your session may include massage, focused bodywork, mobility work, stretching, or other techniques as appropriate.

What forms of payment are accepted?

Cash and major credit or debit cards are accepted. Secure payment processing is provided through Vagaro.

What if I'm running late?

Please reach out as soon as possible if you're running late. Late arrivals may result in a shortened session so later appointments can begin on time.

What is the cancellation policy?

Please provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a cancellation fee. Complete policy details are provided in your intake and consent forms before your appointment.
