Hi, I’m Vivian, the therapist behind Eirene Massage & Bodyworks. My work centers on working with people living with chronic pain, overuse injuries, and ongoing physical stress through restorative massage and remedial bodywork therapy.
My clients come from a wide range of ages and life circumstances—from students and parents to athletes, tradespeople and working professionals, military members and veterans, caregivers, and retirees. While every body and personal history is different, many share a common experience: pain that interferes with movement, work, rest, or daily life.
My focus is helping you feel more at ease in your body by relieving tension, reducing pain, and improving how you move, so you can return to the activities that matter most to you. Each session is guided by your goals and by how your body responds to treatment. The only structure I follow is one that prioritizes your comfort, safety, and overall wellbeing.
Why I Became a Massage Therapist
My path to massage therapy was shaped by my own experience living with pain. I understand what it’s like to move through daily life feeling limited or unsure of what will actually help—and how frustrating it can be when relief feels temporary or incomplete.
I’ve always been drawn to creative, hands-on work. During my own pain journey, that curiosity became a way of better understanding how the body holds tension, compensates, and adapts. Over time, I became interested in how skilled, intentional bodywork can reduce pain, improve movement, and create lasting change.
Massage therapy allows me to bring those skills together in a practical, focused way—helping people feel better while also offering a clearer understanding of what’s happening in their bodies. Education is an important part of my work, whether that means explaining patterns I notice, offering simple movement or self-care guidance, or helping clients feel more confident in how they use their bodies.
I do this work because it’s meaningful to be part of real improvement and to help people move through life with greater ease.
How I Work
I’m goal-driven and don’t bind myself to a rigid routine. Each session is shaped by your priorities and by what your body presents on the day of your visit. Pressure, techniques, and focus areas are adjusted as needed to keep treatment effective, comfortable, and respectful of your limits.
I work with people at many different activity levels and stages of life, including those managing long-standing pain, recovering from injury, balancing physically demanding work, or spending long hours seated. Treatment is adapted accordingly, with attention to what your body can tolerate and what will be most helpful at that point in time.
My massage style blends Swedish, Lomilomi, Sports, Medical, Myofascial, and Neuromuscular massage. When appropriate, I also incorporate advanced techniques to address specific needs, such as:
- Trigger point work
- Cupping
- Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM)
- Neuromuscular and fascial stretching
- Vibration therapy
- Heat therapy
These tools are used selectively and intentionally—not all at once—to encourage clearer movement, reduce discomfort, and promote more sustainable results.

My mission is to provide attentive, professional care focused on healing and restoration. I strive to offer effective treatments as I partner with you in your care, so you can experience meaningful results as you invest in your wellbeing.
