Choosing the Right Therapist

Choosing a therapist is a personal decision.

You're trusting someone with your health, your time, and your well-being. It's important to find someone whose approach to care feels right for you.

Hi, I'm Vivian. I'm the therapist behind Eirene Massage + Bodyworks.

No two people come in with the same history, goals, or experiences, so I don't believe every session should be approached in the same way. My focus is on your individual needs and your progress.

How I Work

Sessions begin with a conversation. We'll talk about what's been going on, how it's affecting your daily life, and what you'd like to be able to do or feel differently. You don't need to know exactly what's causing the problem or what kind of treatment you need. That conversation gives me an initial understanding of what you're experiencing, and the assessment helps me determine where to begin.

As we continue, I learn from what you tell me, what I notice, and how your body responds. Sometimes that gives us a clearer picture of what's going on. I use that information to adapt treatment and, when helpful, make recommendations that support your goals during and between sessions.

This is one reason I value consistency. My goal isn't just to help you feel better for a few days. I want to help you work toward changes that last. With consistent care, we can build on your progress, see how things change between sessions, and make adjustments along the way.

How I Make Treatment Decisions

Your goals, what I find during the assessment, and how you respond help guide the direction of each session.

I'll check in and ask for your feedback along the way. If something is helping, we may continue in that direction. If it isn't having the response I expected, I'll adjust, try another approach, or reassess rather than continuing simply because that was the original plan.

You're always welcome to ask questions. I'm happy to explain what I'm noticing, how I'm thinking about your care, or why I believe a particular technique may be useful.

Every treatment decision I make has a purpose: helping you make meaningful progress toward your goals.

Thank you for visiting. I hope this page has given you a better sense of how I work and whether we're the right fit.
